What are your hours?
We are open Mon–Sat 7am–4pm and Sun 7am–3pm. Breakfast, coffee, and pastries start at 7am, and lunch starts at 9am. We close on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
Where are you, and where do I park?
We are at 921 Green Bay Rd in Winnetka, in the Hubbard Woods business district. Street parking is available on Green Bay Road (restrictions apply), and the Hubbard Woods Parking Deck is nearby.
Can I order ahead for pickup?
Yes. Café orders go through Toast online ordering, and catering orders go through HoneyCart.
How does catering work?
Catering trays serve 4 to 8 and are packed for pickup. Place your order by 2pm the day before. Delivery is offered for standard catering orders over $150, depends on staff availability, and needs confirmation: email catering@towneandoak.com.
Do you have holiday catering menus?
Yes, for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Valentine's Day. Each menu has its own order deadline and pickup window, listed on the Catering page. Holiday menus are pickup only.
Can I reserve a table for a large group?
We take café reservations for parties of 10 to 22, and most groups order family style. Email events@towneandoak.com with your date, time, and party size. We reply by email, not phone.
Do you host private events?
Yes. Our private event space is about 2,160 square feet, with a barrel vault skylight and a living tree, and it is separate from the café, with its own entrance. It seats 25 to 115 guests for plated meals and holds up to 150 for cocktail events. We recommend a minimum of 25 guests. Showers, rehearsal dinners, birthdays, brunches, workshops, and corporate events all fit. Room fees and food and beverage minimums vary by day and time. Can I host a wedding at Towne & Oak?
Yes. Weddings require a day-of planner who stays on site for the whole event.
Do you offer afternoon tea?
Seasonally, on Fridays, in the event space, with seatings at 12:30pm and 2:30pm. Details and reservations are on our Tea Service page.
Can I bring my own food, drinks, or cake to a private event?
Outside food and beverages are not allowed. Cakes from a licensed outside bakery are welcome, with a $3 per person cutting fee. Other outside desserts need written arrangement with your event manager in advance.
Do you offer tastings for private events?
No. Our café menu shares many items with our event menus, so you are welcome to stop in and taste.
Do you have gluten free or vegan options?
Griddled gluten free bread is available, and our tomato basil soup is vegan. Tell us about any allergy when you order, and we will guide you through the menu.
Do you sell gift cards?
Yes. Gift cards are available online through our Gift Cards page.
